World’s largest not-for-profit organization for entrepreneurs judges Pronto Networks as the only WiFi solution provider to feature in the TiE50 list of top wireless companies.
Santa Clara, May 13, 2009: Pronto Networks emerges as the only WiFi solutions provider in the world to feature in the TiE50 list of top wireless companies. Nearly 1200 promising start-up companies across five segments – Internet Infrastructure, Wireless, Cleantech, Software, and Consumer Web – had nominated themselves for the TiE50 awards. Top 10 companies in each segment were short-listed through a combination of public voting and judging. TiE50 Awards were given to the Top 50 start-up companies across five segments.
The TiE50 Awards, held at Santa Clara, USA, is a significant event at TiEcon (TiE’s annual conference of entrepreneurs). TiE is the world’s largest not-for-profit organization for entrepreneurs, with 48 chapters in 11 countries.
