Pronto Service Gateway |
| The Pronto Service Gateway (PSG) , a component of the UniFi Converged Services Suite, is similar in functionality to the Pronto Service Controller but intended for large-scale deployments, such as multi-campus enterprise deployments or citywide broadband wireless networks. The PSG supports up to 2,000 concurrent users and provides AAA, IP routing and customized end user portals. The PSG runs on a Linux Platform and manages subscriber services for the wireless network. The PSG also manages traffic for the wide area network (WAN) interface and quality of service for hot zone subscribers by efficiently managing the available bandwidth at the user level. The PSG gateway authenticates access and administers special service plans, splash pages and pricing. |
