The centerpiece of the Pronto Hotspot Networking System is an access device, the Pronto Service Controller. This access device is deployed at hot spots, allowing for end-user internet access.

The Pronto Service Controller is a highly integrated, small footprint access device, providing a complete 'in a box' solution. Pronto Service Controller has the capability to attach local printers, storage devices and provide a demilitarized zone (dmz) for connecting property owners' computers in a secure zone. Once configured with the Pronto UniFi OSS Platform™, a hot spot location requires no additional devices other than the high-speed bandwidth (T1 or DSL/Cable).
